Deeper Life completes #5billion Worth Headquaters —4th Largest in the world (Photos)


Deeper Life Bible Church, foremost Pentecostal Church in Africa  has finally completed its international headquaters at Gbagada, Logos state.
The 30,000 capacity church project had gone on for about 13 years managed by Cappa and D’alberto. And it is valued at about $16million, that is #5billion 
It is said to be the fourth largest completed church auditorium in the world. The first being the  50,000  seater faith tabernacle at Ota Ogun state belonging to Living Faith Church, Winner Chapel.
Nigeria presently has a plethora of megachurch buildings under construction, all of which rank among the largest in the world.

The MFM Temple with a capacity of 500,000, 
The New Faith Theatre  of  Winners Chapel which is 100,000 seater

Salvation Ministries 90,000 seater in Portharcourt.
 The Great Tabernacle of The Apostolic Faith Mission-75,000 
The Lords Garden of Dunamis International Christian Centre-70,000 in Abuja
 They are all under construction and when completed are billed to be the five largest auditoria in the world in that order.
Churches are not playing in Nigeria amidst this recession.

FOUR DIE AFTER DRINKING OGOGORO IN IMO STATE

Four people have reportedly died in Imo state after consuming locally-made alcohol, also called   Ogogoro . The incident occurred at a drinking joint at Imerienwe community, owned by one  Uwadiegwu Eze , in Ngor-Okpala local government area of the state last week. Agbara Emma, a community leader, said the victims started complaining of stomach pain few minutes after taking the drink and that the story changed by Saturday. He gave the names of those who died as  Chibuzor Nwosu, Ifeanyi Nkwocha, Ada Danganer  and  Friday Osuji. Three men and a woman. The community leader added that Chinonso Amadi, Nnadi Ike, Udoka Ukaegbu, Fineboy Ekeocha, Chiaka Ukaegbu, Onyemauche Igbo, Aboy Amadi, among others, survived after taking the gin. Champions league: Chelsea fan collapses and dies after 3:0 loss to Barcelona

A Chelsea fan, Emmanuel Offin, known popularly as Nana Yaw has died from collapsing, following his club Chelsea's 3-0 loss to Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League second leg round of 16 clash on Wednesday night. Recall that the  La Liga league leaders hammered the Blues  3-0 at Nou Camp after drawing the first leg 1-1 at Stamford Bridge to qualify for the last eight of the competition. Yaw, who is a mobile phone dealer in Ghana, was described as ‘a staunch Chelsea supporter’ by his family members. It was gathered that Yaw died on his way to the house after fainting just minutes after the final whistle in Wednesday’s Champions League clash between Chelsea and Barcelona. HIV/AIDS: Michael Okpara University Discovers New Cure

 Prof. Francis Otunta, the Vice Chancellor (VC), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state has confirmed the discovery of a new drug for the treatment and cure of HIV/AIDS by the institution. Otunta told newsmen at the university campus on Wednesday that the finding followed years of scientific research by the institution. He said that the breakthrough was made by one Prof. Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher in the university. According to him, Ezeibe had presented the drug to the University management, Senate and Council, where he explained the processes he went through to arrive at his findings. The Vice chansellor also said that Prof. Ezeibe had equally presented the drug to his colleagues in the medical field and nobody had contradicted his findings. “Prof. Ezeibe is a researcher in Veterinary Medicine and one may wonder how he discovered a drug to cure a human ailment,” he said. ZIMBABWE: FORMER VP EMMERSON TO REPLACE MOGABE

Emmerson Mnangagwa, a former vice president of Zimbabwean , who was sacked by Robert Mugabe, would be sworn in Wednesday, media reports say. Local media and Zimbabwean sources said Mr. Mnangagwa would be sworn in within 48hours that's Wednesday to replace Mr. Mugabe who resigned on Tuesday after 37-years in office as president. The 75-year-old was removed from office and exiled 13 days after Mr. Mugabe accused him of disloyalty and insubordination. Mr. Mugabe had reportedly taken the action to pave way for his wife, Grace, to emerge as the new leader of ruling Zanu-PF ahead of the country’s general election next year. Harry Kane breaks league goal Records, overtakes messi

Harry Kane set a new record for the most Premier League goals in a calendar year as the Tottenham forward scored for the 37th time in 2017. Kane’s 22nd minute header against Southampton at Wembley on Tuesday took him past Alan Shearer’s previous record, which was set when he played for Blackburn in 1995. The 24-year-old admitted he was keen to break Shearer’s record after he moved level with the former England star with a hat-trick in Tottenham’s win at Burnley on Saturday. Kane now has 22 goals for Tottenham in all competitions this season.
