FORBES NEW 10 HIGHEST PAID MODELS- KENDALL JENNER 1ST

Kendall Jenner becomes the worlds highest paid supermodel replacing Gisele Bundchen for the first time in 15 years, with earnings of $22 million dollars.

The 22-year-old model and reality star topped the annual Forbes list for the first time, a rise from 2016's $10 million total.

This is thanks to an Instagram account that lets her disseminate adverts to 85 million followers, deals with Estée Lauder, La Perla and Adidas, among others.

Paychecks also from her family's reality TV show, her Kendall + Kylie clothing line with her cosmetics mogul sister, Kylie Jenner, and numerous social media endorsements were added.

Gisele, who held the position since 2002, came in second place with $17.5 million and Chrissy Teigen joined the list for the first time after raking in $13.5 million over the past 12 month-period.

Scientists discover an enzyme that can Eliminate plastic wastes

Scientists have accidentally discovered a mutant enzyme that can fully eat up and decompose common plastic, and could help the world solve the problem of plastic waste. Researchers in the US and UK examined an existing enzyme which had occurred naturally in landfill sites and was able to slowly digest man-made plastics. But in the course of testing the enzyme's origins, the researchers made biological changes to it that turbo-charged its ability to digest plastics, according to Britain's University of Portsmouth . MTN to Sell 30% of its Nigerian Company proposes $500b IPO on NSE

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday confirmed that MTN Group had finally commenced discussions with the commission on its proposed 500 million dollars Initial Public Offering (IPO). A senior management staff of SEC who pleaded anonymity told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that MTN had commenced discussion with the commission on the IPO. The source told NAN that although talks were ongoing, the company was yet to formally file its application for the IPO. He said the commission was committed to investors’ protection, and that their interest would be protected in the ongoing discussion. The source said SEC would remain committed to the development of the nation’s capital market and listing of more multinationals. EFCC Arrests woman in JAMB who says snake swallowed 36M

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested and grilled a JAMB official based in Makurdi, Philomina Chieshe, who claimed that a snake swallowed N36m. The money was part of the proceeds of the sale of scratch cards. Detectives at the commission told newsmen that Chieshe revealed that the money was collected in instalments from her by her Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Umoru. In one of the statements she volunteered to the EFCC, Chieshe who is a clerk in the Makurdi office of JAMB, was said to have revealed that the coordinator usually asked her to withdraw proceeds of the sale of the cards from her account in two banks. Lagos Ranked the 3 Least Livable City in the World

Lagos has been ranked third among the 10 least liveable cities in the world. This was contained in the 2018 Global Liveability Index released by The Economist Intelligence Unit and World Bank. The report, which rated Lagos 138th of the 140 cities on earth, said it based the report on 5 parameters. It cited the criteria to be political and social stability, education, culture, environment, infrastructure and access to healthcare. In the report obtained by The Guardian yesterday, Lagos was rated 37.5% and 33.3% in healthcare and education. It said Lagos recorded 53.5% in culture and environment and 46.4% in infrastructure. According to the report, the only cities, which were scored lower than Lagos on the ranking, were Syria and Bangladesh, while Vienna, the Austrian capital, was ranked the most liveable city in the world.
