A PASTOR DIES HAVING SEX WITH A GIRL OF 19

A pastor in delta state has reportedly died during an alleged sex escaped with a 19-year-old-girl in a hotel room in Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta state Delta Police Command Spokesperson, DSP Andrew Aniamaka, confirmed on Wednesday in Asaba. He said the victim’s wife reported the incident to the police on November 19. He said the hotel workers were alerted to the incident after the girl raised the alarm for help when she noticed the pastor was gasping for air. “The incident happened last Sunday evening. HIV/AIDS: Michael Okpara University Discovers New Cure

Prof. Francis Otunta, the Vice Chancellor (VC), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state has confirmed the discovery of a new drug for the treatment and cure of HIV/AIDS by the institution. Otunta told newsmen at the university campus on Wednesday that the finding followed years of scientific research by the institution. He said that the breakthrough was made by one Prof. Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher in the university. According to him, Ezeibe had presented the drug to the University management, Senate and Council, where he explained the processes he went through to arrive at his findings. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of the APC , says there will be no automatic ticket for President Buhari to run as APC's presidential candidate in 2019 as the party would follow the normal democratic process of conducting a primary to elect its presidential flagbearer. Speaking after a meeting with members of pan-Yoruba group, Afenifere, in Ondo state earlier today, Tinubu said the leadership of the party had not endorsed President Buhari as its sole candidate for the forthcoming presidential election. NIGERIAN SENATE REJECTS BUHARI'S CHOICE FOR INEC REC JOB

One of the three nominees for the position of Resident electoral commisioner, Ahmed Mahmud, screened by the Senate on Thursday was rejected. His name was included in a list of nominees President Muhammadu Buhari forwarded to the Senate for approval. Senator Sulieman Nazif, representing Bauchi north, led the opposition against Mahmud. Nazif told his colleagues that Mahmud did not have the backing of his state governor, Abdullaziz Yari, and some stakeholders. However, two other nominees sailed through the screening process. They are Rufus Akeju and Mahmud Isah, who were nominated as the RECs representing Lagos state and Kebbi state respectively.
