Arsenal Signs Biggest sleeve deal in Premier league History

Arsenal confirm they have agreed a three-year deal with ‘Visit Rwanda’, which will see the Rwanda Development Board become their first official sleeve partner. The ‘Visit Rwanda’ logo will be featured on the left sleeve of all the Arsenal sides next season.

Goal say the deal is the biggest in Premier League history and will finally see the Gunners match their rivals on the commercial front. Arsenal have signed a £10 million per year deal which surpasses Chelsea’s £6m per year partnership with Hyundai and Manchester City’s deal with Nexen Tire.

Players from Arsenal Women and Men will visit the country, while club coaches will host development camps for Rwandan children. The move should further boost tourism in the country, with Rwanda having already doubled their number of visitors in the last 10 years.

They have rapidly grown their economy in Africa and are now in a position to sign a lucrative sponsorship deal that should benefit both parties. Arsenal’s previous contract with kit sponsors Emirates did not allow them a sleeve sponsor until a recent extension afforded them another avenue to generate more revenue.

According to the club website, Arsenal’s shirt is seen 35 million times a day around the world. And if ‘Visit Rwanda’ is being viewed to the masses, the country could soon achieve their goal of being a leading tourist destination. They’ve already been awarded for leadership in tourism and competitiveness by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) and the World Economic Forum.

BREAKING: MUGABE FINALLY RESIGNS

Wild jubilation broke out among MPs and on the streets of Zimbabwe when Mudenda told the House. The 93-year-old Mugabe president  resigned in a letter he submitted to parliament hours after his party and Zimbabwe’s ruling party, Zanu-PF, presented a motion to impeach him. Mugabe had been accused of allowing his wife Grace, 52, hijack power and   being too old to rule. The Parliament’s leader said he was working on legal issues that would enable vice president, Emmerson ‘The Crocodile’ Mnangagwa, to take over within 48 hours. Mugabe’s sudden downfall lies in rivalry between members of Zimbabwe’s ruling elite over who will succeed him, rather than popular protests against his rule by the people. JAMB POSTPONES THE SALE OF 2018 UTME FORMS

The spokes man of  Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Fabian Benjamin saus JAMB has suspended the sale of the 2018 application forms earlier scheduled to commence on Wednesday, November 22. He said this Tuesday evening in a press statement. He noted that the postponement was due to the delay in meeting the agreed deadline by the publisher of the compulsory reading text meant for prospective candidates for the 2018 UTME. At Last a Nigerian University Ranks among worlds best

Nigeria's premier University, The University of Ibadan has secured a spot in the top 978 ranked universities in the world. In the ranking released by the Times Higher Education, The university was ranked 801 alongside several others. UI was also the only Nigerian university to make the list. Earlier in 2016, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (AWRU) and the Center for World Universities Ranking (CWUR) released a list of the top 500 and 1000 world universities respectively and no Nigerian university was on the list. Breaking: MMM founder Sergei Mavrodi dies of heart attack

I Russian businessman and founder of the MMM Pyramid scheme, Sergei Mavrodi, is dead. According to Russian media, Mavrodi whose MMM pyramid scheme deprived millions of Russians their savings in the 1990s, died of a heart attack. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty reports Monday that the 62-year-old was rushed to the hospital late on March 25 with pain in his chest and died several hours later. Mr. Mavrodi’s MMM financial pyramid was a typical Ponzi scheme in which earlier investors receive their profits from subsequent investors.
