Arsenal Legend Thierry Henry Arrives Lagos,Received by large crowd(Photos)


Arsenal FC legend, Thierry Henry landed in Lagos, Yesterday December 17 on Sunday for the Guinness Made of Black programme and he was received by a massive crowd of personal and Arsenal fans. Most of them on Arsenal Jersey excited to see the hero. It was a great site to see the taking pictures and exchanging love
The 40-year-old Frenchman is presently in the country to meet winners of the ‘Be a Front Row Fan’ consumer promotion of the company.
The international football icon will equally join the winners to watch the West Brom v Manchester United EPL game at Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Arsenal legend was received by a large crowd at Murtala Mohammed Airport, Lagos upon arrival yesterday.

The Federal High Court in Apo, FCT Abuja, has ordered that 86 luxury vehicles, together with four houses and a quarry plant in Abuja, belonging to a civil servant, Mr. Ibrahim Tumsah, be temporarily forfeited to the Federal Government. Ibrahim Tumsah Musa has been described as the Nigeria’s most corrupt civil servant. OVER 20 PEOPLE DIE FROM FIRE EXPLOSION AT AN ILLEGAL OIL REFINERY IN BAYELSA

HIV/AIDS: Michael Okpara University Discovers New Cure

 Prof. Francis Otunta, the Vice Chancellor (VC), Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia state has confirmed the discovery of a new drug for the treatment and cure of HIV/AIDS by the institution. Otunta told newsmen at the university campus on Wednesday that the finding followed years of scientific research by the institution. He said that the breakthrough was made by one Prof. Maduike Ezeibe, a researcher in the university. MANY DEAD IN NEW ADAMAWA BOMB BLAST

Many people are feared to have died after a bomb blast in Mubi, Adamawa state, after teenage boy detonated his explosives after morning prayers at a mosque. About 30 people are believed to have died in the resulting blast. According to the Adamawa State Police Command,  the suicide attack occurred around 5:20am at Kunu Araha, a suburb in Mubi North. “We were made to understand that there was a bomb blast at a mosque in Mubi and over 30 lives were lost. A boy about 17-year-old wearing a suicide vest entered the mosque along with other worshippers.
