Deeper Life completes #5billion Worth Headquaters —4th Largest in the world (Photos)


Deeper Life Bible Church, foremost Pentecostal Church in Africa  has finally completed its international headquaters at Gbagada, Logos state.
The 30,000 capacity church project had gone on for about 13 years managed by Cappa and D’alberto. And it is valued at about $16million, that is #5billion 
It is said to be the fourth largest completed church auditorium in the world. The first being the  50,000  seater faith tabernacle at Ota Ogun state belonging to Living Faith Church, Winner Chapel.
Nigeria presently has a plethora of megachurch buildings under construction, all of which rank among the largest in the world.

The MFM Temple with a capacity of 500,000, 
The New Faith Theatre  of  Winners Chapel which is 100,000 seater

Salvation Ministries 90,000 seater in Portharcourt.
 The Great Tabernacle of The Apostolic Faith Mission-75,000 
The Lords Garden of Dunamis International Christian Centre-70,000 in Abuja
 They are all under construction and when completed are billed to be the five largest auditoria in the world in that order.
Churches are not playing in Nigeria amidst this recession.

OSINBAJO DECRIES HUGE EXODUS OF DOCTORS FROM NIGERIA

The  Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday decried the way Nigerian doctors are leaving the country in droves saying the government now has an opportunity to bring back the doctors. Mr. Osinbajo, who spoke at the 60th-anniversary celebration of the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, said that the dismal levels of job satisfaction caused by poor healthcare system in Nigeria were responsible for the “alarming” brain drain in the country’s health sector. The vice president’s remarks comes a few days after the Chairman, Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, Lagos State branch, Olumuyiwa Odusote, lamented the exodus of doctors from Nigeria. The Punch newspaper quoted Mr. Odusote as saying, “The health crisis in Nigeria is unprecedented as the mass exodus hits an alarming proportion. “Already, it takes a new patient two to three hours to see a doctor. NIGERIAN BECOMES BEST GRADUATING MEDICAL STUDENT IN UKRAINE

Oyeleye Abiola, the best graduating medical student at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in Ukraine, was on top of the world, as she delivered the valedictory speech for the day. Abiola who was a student of Osun State University was sponsored to the Ukrainian university by the osun state government of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, to complete her studies there. She scored 95.6 per cent to emerge the best, not just at her university, where she beat 564 other students, but also overall in the whole of  Ukraine. The announcement that her score was the best in the entire Ukraine was made at a Pre-Convocation meeting held at V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University , Kharkov by the President of the university, Prof Vil S. Bakirov. Kharkiv University is the only university in Ukraine that has produced three Nobel Prize laureates. There were 49 other students from Osun state, in her set, sponsored to the school by the Aregbesola administration. They all passed their exams.

NUC: New List of illegal Universities in Nigeria

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has released the list of 58 illegal universities and degree awarding institutions in Nigeria. The commission said the universities are yet to be licensed by the federal government and have been shut down for violating the national minimum standard for education. . MTN to Sell 30% of its Nigerian Company proposes $500b IPO on NSE

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Wednesday confirmed that MTN Group had finally commenced discussions with the commission on its proposed 500 million dollars Initial Public Offering (IPO). A senior management staff of SEC who pleaded anonymity told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos that MTN had commenced discussion with the commission on the IPO. The source told NAN that although talks were ongoing, the company was yet to formally file its application for the IPO. He said the commission was committed to investors’ protection, and that their interest would be protected in the ongoing discussion. The source said SEC would remain committed to the development of the nation’s capital market and listing of more multinationals.
