FORBES NEW 10 HIGHEST PAID MODELS- KENDALL JENNER 1ST

Kendall Jenner becomes the worlds highest paid supermodel replacing Gisele Bundchen for the first time in 15 years, with earnings of $22 million dollars.

The 22-year-old model and reality star topped the annual Forbes list for the first time, a rise from 2016's $10 million total.

This is thanks to an Instagram account that lets her disseminate adverts to 85 million followers, deals with Estée Lauder, La Perla and Adidas, among others.

Paychecks also from her family's reality TV show, her Kendall + Kylie clothing line with her cosmetics mogul sister, Kylie Jenner, and numerous social media endorsements were added.

Gisele, who held the position since 2002, came in second place with $17.5 million and Chrissy Teigen joined the list for the first time after raking in $13.5 million over the past 12 month-period.

President Muhammadu Buhari has declared the intention to run for the second term after months of speculation. The President said this on Monday at a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership. At Last a Nigerian University Ranks among worlds best

Nigeria's premier University, The University of Ibadan has secured a spot in the top 978 ranked universities in the world. In the ranking released by the Times Higher Education, The university was ranked 801 alongside several others. UI was also the only Nigerian university to make the list. Earlier in 2016, the Academic Ranking of World Universities (AWRU) and the Center for World Universities Ranking (CWUR) released a list of the top 500 and 1000 world universities respectively and no Nigerian university was on the list. CWUR said that Nigerian universities were not considered for the ranking because of lack of quality research. EFCC Arrests woman in JAMB who says snake swallowed 36M

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested and grilled a JAMB official based in Makurdi, Philomina Chieshe, who claimed that a snake swallowed N36m. The money was part of the proceeds of the sale of scratch cards. Detectives at the commission told newsmen that Chieshe revealed that the money was collected in instalments from her by her Coordinator, Mr. Samuel Umoru. In one of the statements she volunteered to the EFCC, Chieshe who is a clerk in the Makurdi office of JAMB, was said to have revealed that the coordinator usually asked her to withdraw proceeds of the sale of the cards from her account in two banks. Nigerian rapper, Eche Victor otherwise known has Rappon has passed away weeks after releasing a song titled "if I die young." The musician died after suffering from one illness to the other.
